♡Falling for You: A Valentine's Day Makeup Tutorial♡

Hello Lovelies, Valentine’s Day is less than a month away so I thought I would do a sweet & romantic makeup tutorial! Not only do I think this look is perfect for V-Day but would work any other day of the year when you want to go for a more girly look!

See the tutorial here:

Or follow the step by step instructions:

Start by applying a primer to your lids and lower lash line so our shadow appears more vibrant, stays on, and does not crease.
Cream shadows will provide a great base for our look. Using your ring finger apply a light gold shade to the inner half of the lid as well as the inner corner to get a nice highlight. Switch over to the light purple-y pink shade and apply it to the outer half of the lid.
Take a flat shader brush and a shimmery gold, coppery, pinky shadow, and apply it over the gold base. Using a light lavender shade and the same shader brush, apply the color over the purple base.
Use a fluffy blending brush to define the crease with a purple eye shadow. Lightly work the shadow into the crease, and keep building the color up until you are happy with the intensity.
With a large shader brush and a skin tone shadow, highlight the brow and blend the edges of the shadow.
Apply a plum eyeliner to your upper lash line as well as the outer half of the lower lash line to give the eye more definition. With an angled liner brush smudge the color into your lashes, and use the purple eye shadow to intensify the color and set the liner. Take the light lavender shade and fill in the gap between the purple and gold.
To give the eyes a pretty glow, apply a gold eye liner to the waterline.
Finish off the eye with a layer of mascara to the top and bottom lashes.
Keep the cheeks neutral but still give them some color. Using a peach blush and an angled blush brush, focus the color on the apple of your cheeks and work it up towards your temple.
As for the lips I would either go for a nude shade, or a pretty light pink. Finish the look with a layer of lip-gloss.

Products Used:
-Urban Decay Primer Potion
-Maybelline Eyestudio cream eye shadow (Purple Possibilities)
-Revlon Perle E/S (Brushed Copper)
-Wet n’ Wild (Lust) Palette
-L’oreal E/S (Sandy Shores)
-Jordana E/L (Parisian Plum)
-Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on E/L (Baked)
-Buxom Mascara
-Physicians Formula Blush (Blushing Peach)
-Mac L/S (Crème d’ nude) or (Angel)
-Revlon Lip-gloss ( Pink Pop)
-Sigma eye shading brush (E55)
-Mac 217
-Loew Cornell 1/2in Maxine’s Mop brush “large shader” (craft store)
-Sigma small angle (E65)
-Sigma Large Angled Contour (F40)

I hope you enjoyed this sweet and romantic makeup tutorial, make sure to let me know what type of look your planning to wear on Valentine’s day!

MyGlam! January Glam Bag!

Michelle Phan recently launched MyGlam! A $10 monthly beauty subscription service with 4-5 deluxe sample and full sized products delivered right to your door (the value of the products is usually more than $40!!) It's like getting a present every month =) What makes this service unique is that Michelle and her stylists (fellow YT beauty gurus) MacBarbie07 (Bethany), AndreasChoice (Andrea), MissJessicaHarlow (Jessica), & Dope2111 (Promise) will uploaded tutorials and videos featuring and using the products that are in your Glam Bag so you can follow along, Love It! The only downside of MyGlam is that it is not international, and seeing that I am moving to Europe in a few months I will no longer be able to get mine =( (MyGlam make your company international, we will pay the S&H!)

The presentation of the Glam Bag is lovely! It comes in a beautiful pink metallic bubble mailer (something that I have never seen before.) & If the size permits all the products come in fun pouches that can be re-used as makeup bags ( much better than getting a box if you ask me!) The service is amazing, any questions you might have get answered quickly, and I love that we can interact with the stylists through the social networks (YT, Facebook, Twitter, etc...)

I recently got my January Glam Bag in the mail and I could not have been more thrilled with what was inside! The theme of the January bag is brands and products that are good for you and the planet, so all the products included this month are natural, cruelty free, and organic! I love that the bags will have monthly themes, it makes it interesting, and fun to know how and why the products were selected!

The January Glam Bag includes:
-Card explaining this month's glam bag and the theme, with explanations and prices of the products included.
-Sheer Cover Duo Concealer (full size)
-Wen Sweet Almont Mint Cleansing Conditioner (deluxe sample)
-Freeman Cucumber Facial Peel-Off Masque (full size)
-theBalm Cosmetics Shady Lady E/S or Hot Ticket Nail Polish (full size)

For $10, my Glam Bag has over $50 worth of products =) Isn't that incredible!
