Titanic 3D - Rose (Kate Winslet) Makeup Tutorial!

3.29.2012

Hello Lovelies!! I am beyond excited to go see Titanic 3D on April 4th!!!! Titanic is my all time favorite movie and to get a chance to see it in theaters is a dream come true. I first saw Titanic when I was in 4th grade (almost 9 years ago!) and I became obsessed, I bought the collectors edition movie set (it was still VHS), I went to Barnes and Noble and all I wanted to do was read about the Titanic, etc. I watched it countless amounts of times and I always wished I got the chance to see it when it came out in theaters but since I was around 5 years old when it premiered obviously I did not... until this year! I'm counting down the days and I am can't wait to experience the movie in 3D, let's just say that I think James Cameron is a genius! People always ask me if I ever get bored watching the same movie over and over and honestly NO and quite the opposite actually! It seems that every time I watch Titanic I understand it a little bit better, I catch something that I might not have noticed before, and I always walk away with the reminder of how fragile life is and how important it is to make the most of every second we are blessed with. What are your thoughts on Titanic and are you planning on seeing it in 3D? If so and like me you bawl your eyes out during the end and keep crying even though the movie is over, make sure to bring a pack of tissues with you & thank goodness we get to wear the 3D glasses to hide the evidence! LOL

In honor of Titanic coming out in 3D and the official 100th year anniversary I decided there was no better time to film a Rose DeWitt Bukater/ Rose Dawson (Kate Winslet) inspired makeup tutorial! Watch it on my YouTube channel or down below & let me know what you think of the look! I tried my best to make it as accurate as possible, but if you want to see the exact products makeup artist Tina Earnshaw used on Kate in the movie check out Makeup411, an awesome site that provides accurate Makeup Breakdowns!
